Content Preparation Progress when opening a PDF file

If you get a box in Adobe Acrobat that says Content Preparation Progress Please wait while the document is being prepared for reading Status: Processing page xx of xx that seems to happen a lot, and sometimes will never finish.

Please change the following settings in Acrobat.

Go to Edit > Preferences > Reading.

Under "Screen Reader Options" select "Only read the currently visible pages"
