Information about the Auth0 Authentication
The details in this article refer to the alternative DCRM Authentication, the alternative authentication is provided using Auth0 as the Identity Provider (an Okta product) This alternative authentication is specifically for organizations that are hosting their Microsoft cloud implementations on a GCC High Microsoft 365 Tenant which adds additional needed configuration on the GCC High Tenant that may be difficult to get approved and implemented.
Alternative DCRM Authentication (Auth0)
When logging into the NAC DCRM System you will start at the same login page at: https://external.nacintl.com
When you enter your email, it will be validated against the server and will automatically direct you to the proper Identity Provider based on which one you have been provisioned for. If you are receiving this information from someone at NAC International, this more than likely indicates you are provisioned for the Auth0 authentication described in the following steps.
If your experience does not match the following screenshots, you can access more information about the primary authentication further down this page.
Clicking continue on the main login page will redirect you to the following page.
Clicking continue will trigger sending you an email with a code to validate your email.
You will then be prompted to set up a second factor authentication method (MFA)
If you have trouble selecting a second factor, choosing Phone will allow you to receive either a text message or a phone call in the event you are in a location where you cannot have a mobile device.
Once you have enrolled your second factor of authentication you will be authenticated and be taken to the DCRM System.
Primary DCRM Authentication (Microsoft 365 Guest)
If you are interested in understanding more about how the primary DCRM authentication works, the primary DCRM authentication uses Single Sign On to authenticate using an existing Identity Provider that your company is likely already configured for and actively using on a daily basis.
We have implemented the primary authentication using Guest Accounts in Microsoft 365. This is the same account type that is used when a company using SharePoint or Microsoft Teams invites you to collaborate in a Microsoft Team or share files in a SharePoint Site.
If your IT department would be willing to work with us to create the needed connections between your M365 GCC High Tenant and our Commercial Tenant, please reach out to help@nacintl.com.
